Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams paneer, cut into small cubes green
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green capsicum, chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

    1 pinch black salt

  • 1 pinch roasted fenugreek powder

    1 tsp ginger-garlic paste (optional)

    2 tsp thick curd (yogurt)

    Salt to taste

    1 tsp butter

    1 tsp oil

    2 tsp mayonnaise (optional)

  • Some fresh coriander leaves, chopped

    Bread slices (white or brown)

    Cheese slices (optional)

    Hot coal and 2 tsp ghee (optional for smoky flavor)

Method
 

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix mustard oil, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, black salt, roasted fenugreek powder, ginger-garlic paste (optional), curd, and salt. Mix well to form a paste.t
    2. (Optional) For smoky tandoori flavor: Place hot coal in a small bowl, put the paste over it, add 2 tsp ghee. Cover and leave for 2-4 minutes to absorb the flavor.
    3. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add chopped capsicum and cook for 1 minute.
    4. Add the paneer cubes and the prepared paste. Mix well and cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes. Adjust salt. Let it cool.
    5. Once cool, add 2 tsp mayonnaise and chopped coriander leaves to the mixture. Mix well. This will make the filling creamy (optional step).
    6. Take two bread slices. Spread butter on one side of each slice. Place stuffing on one slice, add a cheese slice if you wish, and cover with the second slice. Apply butter on the top side too.
    7. Place the sandwich in a preheated sandwich maker. Cook each side for 1–2 minutes or until golden and crispy.
    8. Remove, cut, and serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.
