How to make Moong Masoor Dal Tadka.

To make the Tadka for Moong Masoor Dal, first of all we will put a non-stick pan on the gas and add 2 teaspoons of mustard oil in it. After adding the oil, we will heat it a little.
After the oil is heated a little, we will add 1/4 asafoetida in it so that the dal gets flavored and asafoetida also helps in digestion. After adding asafoetida, we will add 1 teaspoon of chopped ginger.

Along with this, add 5 to 6 round red chillies. If you do not have round red chillies, then you can add long dried chillies.

After adding the red chillies, we will add 1 medium sized onion after chopping it and mix it well.

Once mixed well, we will also add 1 finely chopped green chilli to it. Along with this, we will also add 1 medium sized tomato after chopping it and 1 teaspoon red chilli powder. After adding these, we will mix it well.

After mixing it well, we will cook it well for 2 minutes. After cooking it well for 2 minutes, add salt as per the taste and mix it well.

We do not cook the Tadka too much because we have to add the Tadka to the dal to make it tasty. That is why we do not cook the Tadka too much.

Now our Tadka is ready. So now we look at the dal. We had already soaked the dal for 30 to 40 minutes. So we will not have to cook it too much.

So our dal is also cooked well. So we will add the Tadka that we have prepared to it. As soon as we add it, we will cover it so that its aroma mixes well with it and it gives a unique taste.

So now after the aroma comes well, we will remove the lid and mix it well with the dal. So now our Moong Masoor Dal is ready. It looks very beautiful.
