📝 Ingredients (Saamagri)

  • 2 tablespoons sarson ka tel
  • 1 teaspoon rai (mustard seeds)
  • 4 medium size aloo (potatoes), medium size mein kata hua
  • 3 medium tamatar, chopped
  • 2 medium pyaaz, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon adrak, chopped
  • 2 hari mirch, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lehsun, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 1 badi ilaichi (black cardamom)
  • 1 dalchini stick
  • 2-3 sukhi lal mirch
  • 1 teaspoon kali mirch powder
  • ½ teaspoon jeera powder
  • ½ teaspoon dhaniya powder
  • ½ teaspoon lal mirch powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri lal mirch powder
  • ½ teaspoon haldi powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 tablespoon hara dhaniya, chopped
  • Salt – swad anusar
  • 2-3 cups paani (as required)

👨‍🍳 Instructions (Banane ka Tarika)

  1. Kadhai mein sarson ka tel garam karein. Phir usmein rai, badi ilaichi, dalchini, sukhi lal mirch aur jeera daal kar 30 sec tak bhunein.
  2. Ab ismein chopped pyaaz daal kar golden brown hone tak 2-3 minute bhunein.
  3. Pyaaz ke baad chopped tamatar daalein. Thoda sa namak daal kar 2-3 minute tak bhunein jab tak tamatar gal na jaye.
  4. Ab gas sim karein aur adrak, lehsun, hari mirch, saare dry masale (haldi, mirch, dhaniya, jeera powder, Kashmiri mirch, garam masala) daal kar 1 minute tak bhunein.
  5. Kate huye aloo daal kar 2-3 minute medium flame par bhunein. Phir paani aur swad anusar namak daal kar dhak dein.
  6. 7-8 minute tak tej aach par pakayein jab tak aloo soft ho jaaye aur gravy thik ho jaaye.
  7. Upar se hara dhaniya daal kar serve karein garma-garam chawal ya pulav ke saath.
